If you have been with us for a while, you know we enjoy taking classical pieces and “jazzing” them up a bit. This time we have two Bach pieces. We start with Invention 13. There are fifteen inventions, which are two-part contrapuntal pieces, and fifteen sinfonias, which are three-part contrapuntal pieces. That is followed by Solfeggietto, written by one of Bach’s sons, Karl Philipp Emmanuel Bach.
