We just found out about this earlier this morning:
Gibson has announced that they are ceasing development of all Cakewalk products.
We were not all that happy when Gibson purchased Cakewalk and thought it was a very odd fit at the time – Now this! We have used the product for more years than we can remember. For now, I guess we sit back and watch to see if another company will jump in and buy it / keep it alive or is it time to start shopping for a replacement?
